We got a call from our neighbor saying a deer was in labor outside my bedroom window.  I watched it for quite some time and nothing happened. Maybe it was a bit too shy to give birth in front of me.

When I was about 7 grandma and grandpa Collet gave me a singing piggy bank for Christmas, and I have loved it since day one. 

I have never taken the money from it, and I continually add to it. Once a year I count all the change, and this year I was particularly OCD about it: perfect stacks, straight lines (for the most part), and exact counting. 

I GOT A SCHOLARSHIP!! Not only is it a scholarship, but it is a departmental donation from the Biochemistry Department, which is a pretty big deal. Good thing I wrote my application essays at 2am the day before they were due! 

I don't think we want to mess with Megan...

Sand Dunes with the bros!!! Friday night we loaded up and went to the dunes. The wind was blowing like crazy, but Taylor insisted on our steak dinner. Even with all the sand and dirt, it was really good! We spent all day Saturday riding and racing. I was the photographer all day, so this is the only pic that I was in.
